About The Project

Sport Concepts was commissioned by Sport England to undertake a monitoring role for the UK Government in the development of the new National Stadium at Wembley. Work included an ongoing review of the Foster / HOK design for compliance with the Lottery Funding Agreement and a peer review of the technical and safety aspects of the new design.

In addition, Sport Concepts was seconded to the British Government’s review committee to analyse the alternative development of the National Stadium in Birmingham and the New Wembley Stadium’s conversion to an athletics stadium.
